Me + Hem = Love

Greetings LoveS!

I recently purchased a sewing machine from the thrift store...and I am in LOVE!

I have no sewing experience but I plan on teaching myself, wish me luck. Anyhow I'v been playing around with my thrift store finds and I hemmed this skirt below.

I took it from a knee length skirt to a thigh high skirt, and added some gold buttons. After much thread, a broken needle, and loud screaming I completed it. I'm excited to share more DIY sewing alterations as I learn them!

Burberry Prorsum SS12

Love the texture, details, and color selection. Every detail is brilliant from the wrap around the ankle tie to the gold embellishments on the tie, to the brown woven vamp and the stripped wedge. Bravo Burberry!

Thrift Store Find of The Day

I am in Love with this Dress! Can you say $3.00 Holla! Yes! The bottom of the bodice is rouched and pleated and it's my favorite part. This dress says "Classic Minimalist". After a few alterations, she'll be good to go..I'll post the look when I rock it :-)

A Must Have

I was exploring Tumblr when I came across this Fabulous Picture! Those earrings are to die for! They are a must have on my list. I wish I knew who to credit this beautiful photograph to and the beautiful earrings. Unfortunately I do not but if anyone does let me know!
